This was a fantastic episode guys! I live in the Dallas Ft Worth area and about 15 minutes from Game Attack. Its a fantastic store and has way more personality and gamer cred then any of the souless stores mentioned. But sad thing is, everytime i go there the store is empty. I have never seen more then 5 people in there at a time and its so sad, Its such a great store with awesome stock, great prices, friendly hardcore gamers as employees and more. They even used to have a Ms Pac Man arcade machine that they sold for $350!! I kick myself every day for not buying that.
Also, I was lucky enough to run into Studdering Craig at E3. He was with James Rolfe and they were filming AVGN spots for Cinemassacre.com. He was really nice and signed my rare Final Fantasy X Yoshitaka Amano cover EGM issue. I had that magazine signed by the EGM editors as well as Tommy Tallarico.
Here is the issue, his signature is middle left near Titus' shoulder. http://www.facebook.com/BitmobShoe#!/photo.php?pid=372589&id=100000193790011
Also met AVGN here is a pic: http://www.facebook.com/BitmobShoe#!/photo.php?pid=373826&id=100000193790011
So anyway awesome show, it was cool listening to you guys talk about our home town. I hope you guys (Pete, Johnny, Gamester etc) can come out to the next Screw Attack Game Convention, I would kill to meet you guys, I am a huge fan of your channels!
Take care! :)
I was so happy when I saw Craig was on this week, even though I knew pretty much everything he was explaining, I just love hearing the story. I've been a g1 since ScrewAttack version 2 and have listened to every episode of SideScrollers since the days when it was just Craig and Tom, I even remember "Perfect Liz" being on the site. Being a fan for so long I was happy to see see all you guys come together and talk!
As for the next ScrewAttack game I BET it's a fighting game, personally I'd LOVE a sidescrolling platformer but I'm sooo sure it has to be a fighting game with all the ScrewAttack personalities.
Pete, that controller, that right there is nostalgia at it's absolute finest. I enjoy hearing stories like that, well, not particularly puking stories, just stories of times which were from years ago, where you can tell that the teller remembers it like it was yesterday.
Congratz on reaching double figures in episode number guys!
Ah, I typed "see" twice by accident, and now I've double posted. Dang it. Hey can we get an edit or delete button for these posts sometime soon? Thanks! :)
REAL LIFE PODCAST! I laughed my ass off at that part.
The Control-BAARAHHAGGH!!!! Pete that totally should be your mini-mascot. Great podcast, keep up the good work.
